Oh! I feel very sad for your friend. Years of treasures lost. I am glad she and her mother are safe.
Holy crap! That is a scary sight.
I can't imagine living in a $600,000 house yet alone seeing one lost in a fire. How horrible.
Unfortunately, so much of Detroit looks like that. Often that style of house, but older. That is what I thought when I saw it.
